The war in the Middle East is a cause for great concern. The toll on lives and suffering of those effected by the fight is one that cannot be ignored. The ELCIC at both the national and synodical levels have issued statements.  

 

On October 8, Bishop Susan Johnson, National Bishop, Evangelical Lutheran Church in Canada and The Most Rev. Linda Nicholls Primate, Anglican Church of Canada issued a join statement on the war in the Holy Land. Here is the link to this statement and prayer offered at this time.
