WHAT WE DO?
VOLUNTEER
Give of our time and talents in areas of service in the church and in the community.

PRAY
In the "Prayers of the People" each week we pray for our church, the community, the world, and individual concerns. We pray for our church family and give thanks for the gifts God has given to us and for the ability to share them.
We have prayer chains that will offer prayers upon request. Requests are taken in confidence by calling the church office or Pastor.

We have prayer stands on either side of the sanctuary at the front. You may light a candle as you pray. Any contributions in the coin box go to Luther Seminary.

SEW
A good time is had by all meeting in our sewing room to make such things as covid masks, glass cases, dresses, shorts, and chemo hats for use locally and abroad.

BAKE
Baking pulla is an activity enjoyed by a dedicated group. The commercial mixer purchased by the Lutheran Church Women's group is very useful in this task. The congregation enjoy having this Finnish coffee bread available for sale. See pictures in slide show above.

KNIT
We fill a mitten tree to give to Christmas Cheer. We are also a Christmas Cheer distribution depot.
SING
We love to sing, and enjoy our choir's special music each Sunday.

GIVE
We bring in food and household products for a Manna Basket delivered monthly to Pauline’s Place Emergency Shelter.

We contribute to Canadian Lutheran World Relief - CLWR. It is the Lutheran agency that works on World Hunger and Development, Refugee Resettlement, and Disaster Relief projects with our support. https://clwr.org

We include our offering to maintain a place of worship and give to outreach in our personal budget.
We put some loose change in our Mission Box to thank our coffee hosts during after service socializing.

VISIT & SHARE
Once a month we honour birthdays of that month with a time for fellowship with cupcakes and coffee following Sunday 10 a.m. worship. It is held in the narthex(foyer). There are chairs for sitting and visiting there. You and conversation group are also welcome to take your cup and chat into a pew in the sanctuary.

GROW IN FAITH
We are invited by our national church to join in a new four-year emphasis on Living our Faith, as together we pray, read, worship, and love. Weekly and monthly encouragements are posted on ELCIC social media pages like Facebook and Instagram.
