Greetings from Our Pastor

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Zion’s presence on the world wide web.  I have the honour of being the pastor of this community of believers in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario for over 10 years.

 

As you look through our website you will see only a small glimpse of who we are, and what we feel to be a faithful response to God’s call to be God’s hands and feet in this world.

 

We at Zion have a great tradition of music, music is central to our branch of Christianity called Lutheranism.  We sing well together, even if you can’t sing, you can appreciate it.

 

We also have a long history of serving our community through various initiatives such as St. Vincent Place and Christmas Cheer and abroad through our National Church’s efforts.  We strive to live out what we hear and pray about on Sunday and throughout the week.

 

As you read about us, if we sound like a community of believers that you might wish to belong to, come, check us out!  Worship with us, pray with us, work with us, make a difference with us.
